On the 28th of September was held at the MINATEC innovation hub (Grenoble) the AVENE PME meetings.

After 4 years of collaboration in the AVENE PME program, Carnot Énergies du futur and M.I.N.E.S institutes have organised this event with the aim to show innovations related to this project.

With a common offer promoted by business developers and prototypes derived from advanced technologies, AVENE PME encourages new solutions for innovation with the aim to build strong partnerships in the future.

This event was therefore an opportunity for numerous visitors to explore more than 50 technological innovations in the field of energy. Proofs-of-concept were displayed through various demonstrators and videos depicting future technological transferts. Individual interviews between business developers from AVENE PME and companies have been planned all the day. Thematic conferences on energy (hydrogen, energy efficiency, thermic, biomass, etc.) were also hosted by scientific experts from both Carnot institutes as well as testimonies of successful partnerships between research and industry.

This one-day event has ended with the presentation of a sector project in the field of energy: "EnergICs", in which both Carnot Énergies du futur and M.I.N.E.S institutes are involved. Five Carnot institutes (Énergies du futur, M.I.N.E.S, BRGM, CSTB and ICÉEL) are gathering in a consortium in order to support French competitiveness in the field of energy. With a wide range of competencies and platforms covering the whole thematics of energy, EnergICs gives solutions for companies' R&D needs and facilitates their access to innovations.

This workshop has allowed Carnot institutes to provide an overview of their technological solutions and laboratories' activities to companies with a primary focus: to encourage future partnerships and to foster innovation.
