Conversion
Traditional technologies (combustion engines, boilers, gas turbines, etc..) have conversion efficiencies below 50%. In other words, more than half of the absorbed energy (oil, gas, coal or electricity) is lost. How to reduce losses while reducing energy consumption? We must offer new, more efficient energy sources, but we need also to rethink our ways. This is the challenge of research and technologies presented below.
