ENGINE 2019 “grEnoble eNerGy conversIoN & storagE winter school”

Dates :
Du 25 February 2019 au 01 March 2019
Lieu : Bâtiment GreEn-ER

ENGINE 2019 Winter School - from February 25 to Friday, March 1st 2019 - offers a theoretical and practical training in architectured materials and electrochemistry across all relevant length scales.

ENGINE 2019 is supported by a team of internationally-recognized scientists of Grenoble in materials science and electrochemistry from: LEPMI and CEA-Liten (both laboratories members of Carnot "Énergies du futur"), SyMMES, KIC InnoEnergy, and ESRF.

Eco-efficient and safer energy production and storage are key issues for our society. All-solid-state electrochemical energy conversion devices such as batteries, supercapacitors, fuel cells, and electrolyzers are of interest thanks to their outstanding performances, durabillity, and safety.

Within these societal and technological contexts, it is of importance to finely understand all the phenomena at stake in the devices within the active materials and at their different constituting interfaces. The grEnoble eNerGy conversIoN & storagE (ENGINE2019) Winter School offers a theoretical and practical training in architectured materials and electrochemistry across all relevant length scales (from local (nm) to experimental cell (cm)).

This winter school will takes place in the city of Grenoble (France) from Monday, February 25 to Friday, March 1st 2019. ENGINE 2019 gathers researchers, engineers, and technicians from academia and industry interested to get a deeper theoretical and practical knowledge on materials science and electrochemistry for energy applications.
